(PT) Adjunct Instructor (Microbiology Lab)

Description

Atlantic Cape Community College is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to deliver high-quality instruction at their Mays Landing Campus. Teaching opportunities may arise throughout the academic year, and instructors may be contacted for interviews.

Typical Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree Preferred
• Teaching experience preferred
• Hands-on expertise with science laboratory equipment, sterile techniques, microscopy, and biosafety protocols

Supplemental Information

• This is strictly a daytime role, needed for Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00pm-2:15pm in the Fall.
• Tuition Waiver - adjuncts may enroll for one credit course, tuition-free, during any semester they are teaching.
• Paid sick leave in accordance with the NJ Paid Sick Leave Law.
• ABP (Alternate Benefit Program) is a defined contribution retirement program for adjuncts. Adjuncts contribute 5% of base salary and the college contributes 8% of base salary. There are seven State-authorized ABP investment carriers.
• Life insurance benefits through ABP are payable to the beneficiary at 3.5X the member's salary.
