(PT) Adjunct Instructor (Microbiology Lab)

Description

Atlantic Cape Community College is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to deliver high-quality instruction at their Mays Landing Campus. Teaching opportunities will be contacted through the college's pool of qualified candidates.

Duties

• Quality Instruction of laboratory sections in teaching area
• Instruct students in safe laboratory procedures
• Demonstrate proper microscope use
• Explain and observe student's safe performance of learning assessments
• Monitor student progress and facilitating student participation in learning activities
• Grading of laboratory assessments and assignments
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Master's Degree Preferred
• Teaching experience preferred
• Hands-on expertise with science laboratory equipment, sterile techniques, microscopy, and biosafety protocols

Compensation

$780 per contact hour*
