PSYOP Planner, Senior
About the role
As a defense mission professional, you will shape the integration of influence activities across joint and combined operations by developing PSYOP plans aligned to commander’s objectives and operational phases. You will conduct in-depth target audience analysis to identify behavioral drivers, vulnerabilities, and desired influence outcomes, using those insights to craft effective concepts, themes, and narratives. In this role, you will synchronize PSYOP activities with joint, interagency, and coalition partners to ensure information-related capabilities are aligned and mutually reinforcing.
Responsibilities
- Develop PSYOP plans aligned to commander objectives and operational phases
- Conduct target audience analysis to identify behavioral drivers and influence outcomes
- Synchronize PSYOP activities with joint, interagency, or coalition partners
- Integrate PSYOP planning into operational orders, annexes, or supporting plans
- Audit operational environments to identify information opportunities and vulnerabilities
- Coordinate message approval processes, ensuring consistent alignment for production, distribution, and dissemination across multiple platforms
- Recommend PSYOP tasks, capabilities, and resources during planning and mission analysis
- Develop measures of performance and effectiveness that evaluate the impact of influence activities
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in PSYOP planning, influence operations, or operational planning fields
- Experience developing PSYOP plans aligned to commander objectives and operational phases
- Experience conducting target audience analysis to identify behavioral drivers and influence outcomes
- Experience integrating PSYOP activities into operational orders, annexes, or supporting plans
- Experience coordinating with joint, interagency, or coalition partners to synchronize information-related capabilities
- Ability to assess operational environments to identify information opportunities and vulnerabilities
- Ability to develop messages, themes, and narratives tailored to priority audiences
Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience with PSYOPs, or Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience with PSYOPs
Skills
- Understanding of Service component functions and Combatant Command relationships
- Experience planning PSYOP at the Combatant Command level
- Knowledge of DoD, Joint, and Army doctrine, policies, and regulations
- Experience with joint or service level information operations planning
- Experience with CCMD AOR

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
