Psychotherapist - Outpatient Practice - Grand Rapids, MI

Corewell Health's Behavioral Health department is a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Providers (PA-C and NP), Psychotherapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers, offering a collaborative approach to care. Offices are located throughout West Michigan, with a hybrid model of on-site visits and virtual care.

About the role

As an outpatient psychotherapist, you will provide services to adult patients, including:

• Performing diagnostic examinations of the patient’s psychosocial functioning and adjustments to their medical and/or psychiatric illness
• Developing treatment plans and goals consistent with the needs of the patient
• Utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities in a manner that meets professional standards and adapts to the changing needs of the patient
• Documenting plans, interventions, and the patient’s response/involvement according to standards
• Participating in ongoing quality monitoring and process improvement activities

You will demonstrate teamwork and integrity in all work-related activities, ensuring your work supports Corewell Health’s mission of Superior Quality Care.

Requirements

• License: LMSW or LPC
• Experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples/families, and/or groups
