Schedule
- 2-5 days per week
- Full-time available if open to covering multiple facilities
Pay
- Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus
- For LCSW, LMHC, LMFT: Assuming full-time, 75 units/week (15 units/day), estimated earnings of $90k - $100k/year
- For Psychologist (PsyD/PhD): Assuming full-time, 75 units/week (15 units/day), estimated earnings of $125k - $145k/year
- Pay-per-encounter, fee-for-service compensation
About the Role
Telos Health Systems is seeking a Psychotherapist (LPCC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist – PsyD/Ph.D.) to provide mental health evaluations and psychotherapy services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Facilities. This role offers flexibility, clinical autonomy, and strong administrative and leadership support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Provide individual psychotherapy and ongoing treatment services
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with facility staff, medical providers, and other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to all federal, state, and organizational standards, policies, and regulations
Requirements
- Active North Carolina license as one of the following:
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Psychologist - PsyD/Ph.D.
- Master’s degree (LPCC, LMFT) or Doctoral degree (Psychologist) in a relevant mental health field
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a clinical team
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with geriatric populations
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, or long-term care settings
