Schedule

  • 2-5 days per week
  • Full-time available if open to covering multiple facilities

Pay

  • Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus
  • For LCSW, LMHC, LMFT: Assuming full-time, 75 units/week (15 units/day), estimated earnings of $90k - $100k/year
  • For Psychologist (PsyD/PhD): Assuming full-time, 75 units/week (15 units/day), estimated earnings of $125k - $145k/year
  • Pay-per-encounter, fee-for-service compensation

About the Role

Telos Health Systems is seeking a Psychotherapist (LPCC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist – PsyD/Ph.D.) to provide mental health evaluations and psychotherapy services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Facilities. This role offers flexibility, clinical autonomy, and strong administrative and leadership support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Provide individual psychotherapy and ongoing treatment services
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Coordinate care with facility staff, medical providers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and organizational standards, policies, and regulations

Requirements

  • Active North Carolina license as one of the following:
    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Psychologist - PsyD/Ph.D.
  • Master’s degree (LPCC, LMFT) or Doctoral degree (Psychologist) in a relevant mental health field
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a clinical team
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with geriatric populations
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, or long-term care settings
