Job Overview
The Psychotherapist provides behavioral health diagnostic assessments and therapeutic intervention for children, adolescents, and young adults. The role focuses on identifying and addressing emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychological factors that impact functioning, development, and overall well-being. The Psychotherapist delivers evidence-based behavioral health care through individual, family, and caregiver-focused interventions.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with completed clinical hours and licensed to work in NJ
- Licensed to work in NJ as LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or LPC
- American Heart Association BLS Provider Certification
Preferred
- Doctorate Degree
- One year of Psychotherapy experience
Essential Functions
- Interprets assessment data and disseminates findings accurately and sensitively
- Develops and guides individual evidence-based treatment plans
- Provides psychotherapy as indicated to address the issues impacting the patient’s functioning
- Maintains compliance with documentation, ethical, legal standards, and regulatory requirements
- Attends program development and case conferences as indicated for patients treated or evaluated
- Provides in-services to staff and community agencies as requested by Supervisor
- Provides effective team consultation as needed
Scheduling Requirements
Full time, 40 hours per week. Evening and/or weekend hours may be required.
