About the Role

At N.E.W. Community Clinic, we believe mental health care is essential to whole-person health. Our integrated care team works every day to ensure individuals and families in our community—especially those facing barriers to care—have access to compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services. We are seeking a Licensed Psychotherapist who is passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges while working within a collaborative healthcare environment.

In this role, you will provide outpatient therapy, conduct psychosocial assessments, and partner with medical providers and care teams to support the behavioral health needs of our patients. Our therapists work with a diverse population experiencing a wide range of life circumstances and mental health challenges. This position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful care, collaborate across disciplines, and help improve access to mental health services in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient counseling and therapeutic support to individuals and families
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain an active therapy caseload and facilitate therapeutic groups as needed
• Collaborate with medical providers and interdisciplinary teams within an integrated care setting
• Support patients in accessing community resources and additional services
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization when needed
• Document services and treatment plans in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards (DHS 35, federal, state, and local guidelines)
• Ensure client access and acclimation to mental health services

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work
• Wisconsin licensure as LCSW or LPC
• Experience providing psychotherapy and psychosocial assessments
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment
• Commitment to providing culturally responsive care to diverse populations
• Trauma-informed care experience preferred (EMDR, Brainspotting, or similar approaches a plus)
• Spanish language skills a plus
