Psychometrics: Core Faculty, Clinical Psychol

Position Summary

William James College announces an opening for a full-time Core Faculty position in the Doctoral Clinical Psychology Department beginning on August 4, 2026. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and the benefits are highly competitive. The minimum starting salary for this academic position is $90,000 and is consistent with the department’s salary equity considerations for incoming faculty.

Essential Functions

• Involvement in teaching, advising, and research supervision
• Commitment to committee work and scholarly productivity
• Interest, expertise, or experience in Psychometrics
• Teaching of Psychometrics class and generalist courses in the clinical PsyD program
• Supervision of dissertations in specific areas of expertise

Education and Experience

• PsyD or PhD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology
• Completed an APA-accredited internship
• Teaching experience
• Licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts
• Maintain involvement in clinical practice or consultation
• Demonstrated record of scholarly work
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and equitable educational and workplace environment
• Available to teach in-person classes and participate in on-campus activities

Compensation Range

$90,000 - $100,000 annually
