Psychometrician

Expected pay for this position is $25.35 - $29.82/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly position.

Overview

The Psychometrician administers intelligence, cognitive, aptitude, personality, and other psychological tests according to standardized test instructions to obtain data for use by psychologists in determining patient diagnoses and developing treatment plans.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field
• At least 1 year of experience working with patients in a mental health or healthcare setting, ideally with psychological or psychometric testing
• Knowledge of the principles of normal and abnormal human behavior, basic statistics, growth and development
• Ability to attend to emotional and psychosocial needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with pediatric patients in a behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare setting
