About the role

Join CBS as a Behavior Technician and help empower children with Autism to reach their full potential and lead joyful, fulfilling lives. You’ll work in clients’ homes or community‑based settings, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services that make a real difference for children and their families. Become part of a devoted team of ABA professionals passionate about enhancing lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one ABA services to clients, using evidence‑based interventions that support independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of the clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill‑building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and providers to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
• Reliable method of transportation.
• No prior experience required.
• Minimum 6‑month commitment.
• Encouraged to complete the 40‑hour Registered Behavior Technician training (BK Academy).

Skills

• Experience in education or early childhood development.
• Background in childcare, babysitting, or youth mentorship.
• Experience as a teaching assistant, paraprofessional, or instructional aide.
• Involvement in after‑school programs or camp counseling.
• Background in behavioral health, mental health, or social services.
• Experience with ABA therapy or working with individuals with Autism.
• Healthcare support roles (DSP, CNA, HHA, PCA, caregiver).
• Experience supporting a neurodiverse family member or loved one.
• Prior work as a Behavior Technician, ABA technician, or Registered Behavior Technician.
