Psychology Instructor - ADJUNCT
Job Responsibilities
Instruction delivered to a diverse student body using effective teaching strategies.
Maintain high level of excellence in teaching by communication and interacting effectively.
Instruction includes hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks (reports, syllabus, lesson plan development).
Prepare materials needed for course instruction and testing.
Keep student records and adhere to course schedules.
Utilize learning management systems (Brightspace D2L) to communicate with students.
Conduct lectures, discussions, and other teaching activities.
Relate instruction and material to course objectives.
Provide students with course syllabi and correlate grade assignments with skill and course competency.
Submit grades, attendance, reports and records in timely manner.
Requirements
Master's degree in Psychology or a related degree with 18 or more graduate semester hours in Psychology or related subject required.
Preferred Qualifications: Post Secondary teaching experience.

Flexible Schedule is required (i.e. day/evening). Courses may be delivered in various formats; distance education, online, hybrid, in-person, dual enrollment (local high schools), on and off campus, correctional facilities, etc..
