Responsibilities
- Engage in individual and group counseling, supervision, crisis intervention, and consultation/outreach under clinical supervision.
- Provide psychological assessments, intakes, and appropriate referrals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary consultation with patients, families, and other professionals in the Neonatal Follow-up Program at Buerger.
- Collaborate with families, other professionals, and community agencies, particularly in childcare settings.
- Assist with active research projects, including tasks related to subject recruitment, assessment, and intervention.
- Contribute to the development of new research projects and assist with grant writing.
- Prepare posters, presentations, and journal articles based on research findings.
Requirements
- High school diploma is required.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in both oral and written forms.
- Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Sound and independent judgment.
- Knowledge and skill in using job-appropriate technology and software applications.
Qualifications
- Generally requires 0 to 3 years of related experience.
