Psychology Expert (AI Community)

About the Role

At TELUS Digital, we are seeking freelancers with backgrounds in Psychology to help ensure AI-generated content is safe, helpful, and responsible. No technical expertise is required; your understanding of human behavior and mental health will guide the AI.

What You’ll Do

• Safety Reviews: Evaluate flagged content for potential risk or harm and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Behavior Analysis: Assess AI interactions with users for bias or unfairness.
• Risk Reporting: Identify ambiguous scenarios where AI might provide incorrect advice and suggest improvements.
• Mental Health Awareness: Ensure AI respects sensitive topics and handles them appropriately.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language, understanding cultural and emotional nuances.
• English Proficiency: Basic (B1) English for reading project guides and safety rules.
• Empathy & Logic: Ability to comprehend human emotions and detect risks missed by others.

Assessment

To join our community, candidates must pass a subject-specific qualification exam and complete ID verification.

Payment

Pay rates for experts range from $20 - $50 USD per hour, with payment terms defined for each project.
