Psychology Assistant I

About the role

Assists Principal Investigator(s) in administering and scoring neuropsychological tests, collecting data, conducting preliminary statistical analyses in coordination with the statistical team.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and scores neuropsychological assessments in compliance with study protocols
• Conducts participant interviews using standardized techniques to ensure accurate data collection
• Reviews and audits data for accuracy
• Follows up with participants as needed to resolve discrepancies
• Works with the statistical team to perform analyses
• Conducts literature reviews to support research activities and manuscript development
• Manages research databases using Excel and other statistical or data‑management programs
• Organizes and prepares grant‑related documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions; may write reports to present at meetings
• Demonstrates willingness to learn phlebotomy techniques necessary to fulfill project needs
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• May require off‑campus site visits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Coursework in Psychology preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field preferred

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient in Excel
• Knowledge of statistical program SPSS preferred

Pay

Hiring Rate: $29.96 per hour

Post Probationary Rate: $30.49 per hour

Job Rate: $31.76 per hour

Minimum Salary Range: $29.96/Hr.

Maximum Salary Range: $29.96/Hr.
