Psychologist - Schools

About the role

A full-time School Psychologist position is available to cover one elementary school in Crystal Lake, IL for the 2026-27 school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological services to students, families, and staff within the assigned school.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to implement evidence-based practices.
• Support the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives aimed at promoting mental health and academic success.

Requirements

• Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings.
• Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$50.00 - $60.00 Hourly, inclusive of nontaxable stipends converted to an hourly rate based on a 35 - 40 hour work week.

Schedule

Full-time position covering one elementary school for the full school year.
