Psychologist - Paulding Pavilion - PCBHI

Responsibilities

• Supporting patients in accessing community resources for specialty mental health
• Engaging in consultations with medical professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Providing interventions across the lifespan
• Collaborating with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other behavioral health professionals
• Receiving input and direction to inform clinical decisions

Requirements

• Doctoral Degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program
• Current Georgia License as a Psychologist
• Three years' experience in a health-related field, mental health, and behavioral health
• Crisis Intervention, brief evidenced based interventions, and experience working with patients using the biopsychosocial model
• Possession of emotional maturity, interest in learning and teaching, and comfort in fast-paced environments
• Demonstration of ability to work with patients across the lifespan
• Demonstration of ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Possession of experience with evidenced based brief interventions
• Possession of knowledge of developmental characteristics of people of all ages, economic backgrounds, and cultural backgrounds
• Basic use of Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Doctoral Degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program

Required Minimum Experience: Three years' experience in a health-related field, mental health, and behavioral health
