Psychologist / Neuropsychologist / Licensed Counselor

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Psychologist, Neuropsychologist, or Counselor to join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing behavioral health services to adults recovering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI).

Responsibilities

• Carry out psychological and behavioral assessments.
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and behavioral support plans.
• Perform or coordinate neuropsychological evaluations as appropriate.
• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral management.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and behavioral interventions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor patient progress.
• Participate in discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state license (Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent).
• Experience providing counseling and behavioral health services.
• Knowledge of neuropsychology, cognitive rehabilitation, and behavioral therapy techniques is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
