About the Role

Provides comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention for adult and child members with diverse psychiatric needs. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop and evaluate individualized treatment plans, including outpatient psychotherapy for individuals, families, couples, and groups. Performs psychological assessments, administers testing, and maintains confidential records in accordance with regulations.

Works with physicians to evaluate patients for psychotropic medications and utilizes community resources for member support. Offers clinical supervision to trainees and may supervise licensed associates. Supports members' families by explaining treatment and promoting adherence. Participates in program development and safety reporting.

Qualifications

  • PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Clinical, Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Psychologist license (California within 6 months or from any state at hire) and NPI number.
  • Familiarity with DSM-V and broad psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment experience.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices, bio-psycho-social factors, and psychological testing techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and ethical skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in crisis intervention, psychological testing, and working with diverse populations preferred.
  • Ability to complete multiple objectives timely and adhere to confidentiality and regulatory standards.
