About the Role

We are seeking a licensed psychologist to join the innovative team at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center in Farmington, MO. The center currently provides forensic and long-term services within a long-term care psychiatric hospital.

Responsibilities

• Administer, score, and interpret sex offender risk assessments.
• Complete mental status exams to assess patient readiness for advancement and discharge from the facility.
• Facilitate sex offender treatment groups as needed.
• Provide empirically-supported treatment in a primarily group context.
• Participate on multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate care and develop collaborative treatment plans.
• Conduct individual therapy as needed.
• Address individual treatment needs and monitor progress in the program.
