About the role

The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry in the WVU School of Medicine seek a Psychologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of Clinical Psychology
• Provide excellent patient care
• Have teaching and supervision expectations within our well-known, training-focused APA-accredited clinical psychology internships and fellowships
• Offer additional teaching opportunities with medical students and residents within the department and broader Health Sciences Center on topics relevant to psychology
• Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based outpatient assessment and intervention for adult patients with PTSD/cPTSD and co-occuring medical/ psychological conditions including but not limited to pain, functional disorders, eating concerns, and health anxiety

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited graduate program with an APA/CPA-approved internship
• Be immediately eligible for state licensure
• For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, Board Certification (ABPP) as well as a demonstrated track-record of leadership, clinical and teaching excellence and scholarly activity are required
