Psychologist 4- CRCC

About the role

The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Psychologist 4 for this position at Coyote Ridge Corrections Center located outside the Tri Cities in Connell, WA. This position provides and supervises mental health services, ensures compliance with DOC policy, protocol, and the WA DOC Health Plan, and collaborates with custody and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological evaluations, diagnostic clarification, psychological testing, screenings, and evaluations.
• Ensure staff under supervision have current Position Description (PD), Performance and Development Plan (PDP) and Expectations.
• Participate in formal clinical oversight according to the Facility and DOC Health Services Clinical Oversight structure.
• Collaborate with custody and clinical staff at CRCC and other DOC facilities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with other DOC facilities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of postdoctoral psychology experience.
• Possession of a license to practice psychology in the state of Washington.
• At least one year of experience working independently and effectively to develop resources linking client needs with resources within institutions and/or the community.
