About the Role
Provides mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services for adult and/or child members under supervision. Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop and evaluate personalized treatment plans, including outpatient psychotherapy, psychoeducational groups, and specialized therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans and programs
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments and test results
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for treatment evaluation and psychotropic medication management
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups
- Offer support and education to members' families
- Utilize community resources for comprehensive care
- Supervise trainees and consult with team members on treatment progress
- Maintain confidential records in compliance with regulations
- Ensure safety and report concerns to mandated agencies
- Participate in program development and evaluation
Qualifications
- Completion of a psychology doctoral internship (minimum 1 year/1500 hours)
- PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Clinical, Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Psychologist license (California) within 24 months of hire and psychological assistant registration at hire
- Knowledge of DSM-V, evidence-based practices, and psychological testing techniques
- Experience in diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy (individual, family, and group)
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with social service agencies, regulations, and confidentiality standards
- Ethical practice and professional conduct
