About the role

Psychological Assessment Specialist SUBS at MHMRTC provides appropriate and impartial assessments and endorsements with written documentation that determine current functioning and eligibility of individuals seeking Intellectual Developmental Disorders (IDD) services in accordance with agency policies, operating procedures, and applicable state and federal statutes and regulations.

Responsibilities

- Provide psychological assessments and endorsements. - Write documentation related to current functioning and eligibility. - Ensure assessments comply with agency policies, operating procedures, and legal requirements.

Requirements

- Minimum Education: Master’s Degree in Psychology or Counseling. - Minimum Years’ Experience: Two (2) years. - Defined Experience: Intellectual and developmental disabilities (may include internship); meets Texas Health and Human Services standards as an Authorized Provider to perform Determinations of Intellectual Disabilities. - License/Certifications: LPA, LSSP, PL.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Excellent communication and writing abilities.
