Psychiatry Physician - Inpatient Child & Adolescent
Job Duties
- Serve as a Psychiatrist in an inpatient setting for children and adolescents.
- Provide treatment for individuals with common psychiatric diagnoses such as Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma-Related Disorders, Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder, and Substance-Use Disorders.
- Manage Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, and Brain Stimulation Therapy within the Behavioral Health centers.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical record documentation.
About the Role
The role involves providing psychiatric care in a clinical and office environment. The facility is a contemporary, freestanding health care facility serving both adult and pediatric populations. The role is performed onsite only.
Requirements
Requires a Doctoral Degree in Psychiatry from an accredited institution. Must be licensed as a Medical Doctor in the State of Pennsylvania.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have experience in treating children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders. Proficiency in using EPIC for electronic medical records is preferred.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.
