Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

About the role

LifeStance Health is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join our clinical team. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience practicing as a PMHNP.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care under the supervision of a psychiatrist
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Conduct psychotherapy sessions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Participate in case conferences
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes

Requirements

• Full licensure in Kansas with an active, unencumbered DEA
• Experience in both medication management and therapy
• Minimum 1-year experience practicing as a B/C PMHNP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Current license to practice as a PMHNP in Kansas
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health

Skills
