Psychiatry NP / PA

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana | Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Stress Center

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated advanced practice provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 5 physicians and 8 APPs.

• Call structure: No telephone/overnight call required for NP staff; shared weekend coverage approximately 1 in 7 weekends
• Practice setting: Mixed (Inpatient, Outpatient, Partial Hospital, and Intensive Outpatient)
• Access to: Sunrise Clinical Manager, Athena EMR, therapeutic day school, and school-based behavioral health services
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system

Drive patient-centered behavioral health care by managing a dynamic clinical schedule that spans comprehensive outpatient evaluations, medication management, and active inpatient rounding. Enhance multidisciplinary treatment outcomes by collaborating with medical staff, participating in treatment team planning, and guiding holistic care across the lifespan.

• Part-Time | 0.5 FTE
• Saturday & Sunday 10-hour shifts

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Master's degree in Nursing required
