About the role
Pinewood Springs, a behavioral health hospital near Nashville, TN, is seeking an adult psychiatrist for a Medical Directorship role.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Medical Director to provide meaningful impact for a growing program
- Prior leadership experience preferred
- Provide direct psychiatric services in an inpatient setting
- Option to expand role to include outpatient clinic in nearby Franklin, TN
- Participate in one weekend per month call coverage
Requirements
- ABMS board certified or board eligible in psychiatry
- TN license or ability to obtain
Qualifications
- Experience in treating patients with mood, thought, and co-occurring disorders
- Ability to work in a supportive and therapeutic environment
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
