About the role

This is an onsite consult services position requiring a background in consult services outside of residency. Candidates must not have any “yes” disclosure answers to the Essentia Q&D form to qualify for privileges. The role involves a mix of emergency department (ED) consults (minority) and psychiatric consults on medical units within the hospital (majority). ED consults are primarily handled by the consult team NP/PA. Additionally, the role includes intermittent tele-consult coverage for regional hospitals.

Both Minnesota and Wisconsin licenses/DEAs are required due to tele-consult practice needs.

Schedule

Patient care schedule is a 9-hour day (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Below are the required dates:

• Orientation: September 21
• September 22 – October 5
• October 13 – 19
• November 3 – 16
• November 24 – December 11
• December 29 – January 11
• January 26 – February 8
• February 23 – March 8

Pay

• Orientation Hours: $195/hour
• Regular Hours: $325/hour
• Overtime Hours: $400/hour (after 9 hours worked; very rare)
