Psychiatrist to Join Our Adult Inpatient Team | Teaching and Lecturing Opportunities, If Desired
Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist to join our Adult Inpatient team in Bangor, Maine. J-1 Waiver sponsorship is available, with a pathway to permanent residency (Green Card) supported by experienced immigration counsel.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to practice within a state-of-the-art facility and join one of the most well-respected programs in the state. The position is full-time and on-site with a Monday – Friday schedule.
- Join and lead an interdisciplinary team known for delivering high-quality psychiatric care
- Provide clinical leadership, teaching, and mentorship to care team members
- Participate in teaching and lecturing opportunities within our Adult Psychiatry Residency Program if desired
Responsibilities
- Oversee diagnostic evaluations and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans
- Ensure all therapies and therapeutic activities align with treatment goals
- Conduct initial evaluations, initiate treatment interventions, and provide ongoing care
- Contribute to program development
Pay
$300,000 – $310,000 annual base salary. The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
