Psychiatrist – Remote Consulting Physician

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active medical license in good standing
• Wisconsin medical license or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric medication management
• Experience consulting with or mentoring psychiatric nurse practitioners
• Experience with complex psychiatric cases
• Effective communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary behavioral health practices

Schedule and Compensation

• This is a flexible, part-time consulting opportunity averaging approximately five hours per week.
• The schedule may include planned provider consultations, case discussions, and ongoing advisory support.
• Actual hours may vary based on BHC’s needs.
• Competitive compensation will be based on experience, responsibilities, and anticipated time commitment.
• Final terms will be established through a written consulting agreement.
