PSYCHIATRIST PRN

About the role

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Cooper University Health Care (CUH) and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) has an opportunity for a full-time, outpatient Adult Psychiatrist.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient practice—general adult psychiatry with the opportunity to develop areas of clinical focus based on your interests and expertise
• Teaching residents (psychiatry, family medicine) and medical students in clinical experiences and didactics
• Consultation to primary care clinicians to support them in providing appropriate mental health care to adults
• Explore other areas of professional interest

Requirements

• Appointment and rank will be commensurate with experience
• Candidates should have several years of experience in clinical care and program development
• Hold active ACGME board certification in General Psychiatry
• Be eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey

Qualifications

• MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree
