Psychiatrist - Outpatient - Hybrid/Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and behavioral health support as part of a collaborative community health team.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments and evidence-based medication management
• Provide behavioral health services, psychoeducation and follow-up care to patients
• Provide Medication Assisted Treatment when appropriate
• Work closely with psychotherapists, primary care physicians and support staff
• Participate in case conferences, departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide clinical supervision to psychiatric advanced practice providers and trainees
• Complete patient documentation accurately and within required timelines

Qualifications

• Medical Degree required
• Completion of a four-year psychiatry residency required
• Board certified or eligible for board certification in Psychiatry
• Valid California medical license required
• Current California Drug Enforcement Administration licensure required
• Current Basic Life Support certification required through an American Heart Association approved source
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
• Ability to work with confidential information in a professional and ethical manner

$265,000 - $425,000 per year
