Harmony United Psychiatric Care is part of Harmony United Healthcare LLC. We are a network of outpatient mental health clinics providing comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health services in Florida through in-person and virtual visits via a secure online telehealth platform. Our services include psychiatric/psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy & counseling, and neuropsychological testing. Our team consists of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists/neuropsychologists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, certified physician assistants, and licensed therapists. We serve adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above, delivering individualized care with compassion and respect.
About the role
We are seeking an Independent Contractor Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, therapeutic interventions, medication management, and brief psychotherapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, offer psychoeducation to patients and families, and maintain documentation in compliance with company policies. Staying current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education is expected.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with mental health conditions
- Deliver medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education and professional development
Qualifications
- MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
- Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist
- Active Florida medical license or in the process of obtaining one
- Candidates in the final year of residency may apply
Pay
Up to $300 per hour. Additional compensation available as a collaborating physician (optional).

- Offices open Monday–Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments
- Availability to work via telemedicine Friday–Sunday
- Option to work 50% telemedicine from the start of employment
- Option to work fully (100%) remotely if serving as a collaborating physician
