About the role

Garnet Health Doctors is actively searching for a dynamic Psychiatrist to join our dedicated team at our state-of-the-art facility in Harris. In this role, you will thrive in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, catering to a diverse and vibrant patient community. Opportunities for leadership and teaching are available via our Psychiatry Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
• Engage with a diverse patient population in the Hudson Valley and Catskills region.
• Participate in teaching and leadership opportunities through the Psychiatry Residency Program.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy.
• Residency trained in the USA with a completed residency in Psychiatry.
• Graduating residents are welcome to apply.
• Active NY State Medical License.
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Psychiatry within 5 years of residency completion.
• NY State DEA license required.
• NY State Infection Control certification.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• ECFMG certification required if applicable.
