Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Part-Time | Geriatric Behavioral Health

About the role

Brigade Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to serve as a consultative behavioral health physician supporting older adults in assisted living and senior care settings. This unique role focuses on collaboration, education, and improving behavioral health outcomes without the burden of a traditional high-volume patient panel.

What You'll Do

• Provide psychiatric consultation to NP and PA providers on complex behavioral health cases
• Offer guidance on psychotropic medications, dementia-related behaviors, and care escalation
• Lead biweekly case conferences and educational sessions
• Collaborate with assisted living communities and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in future program development and clinical leadership opportunities

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of Psychiatry residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active, unrestricted medical license
• Experience with geriatric psychiatry, dementia, or senior populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills

Pay

Hourly range for posted region: $175 USD - $200 USD
