Psychiatrist, Clinical Supervisor of Mental Health Outpatient Service

About the Role

Thrive Therapy is seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to serve as the Supervising Psychiatrist of our MHO program. This per-diem position requires on-site presence two days per month to complete supervisor and clinical service hours.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the supervision of the clinical director and other mental health professionals, including monthly on-site meetings, in accordance with state, federal, and payor regulations.
• Review and update necessary policies in collaboration with the Clinical Director and maintain compliance with billing, medical records, and treatment best practices.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses as needed.
• Provide clinical services for clients and families as needed.
• Review and sign off on treatment plans created by assigned providers as needed.
• Supervise all psychiatric services and execute medication management as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD/DO) plus completed residency in psychiatry.
• Licensed to practice Psychiatry within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Maintain current DEA number and eligibility to prescribe medication in Pennsylvania.
• At least five (5) years of experience providing mental health treatment.
• Experience supervising other mental health professionals.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Background check in accordance with state and federal regulations, including State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Clearance.
• NPI Query.
• Participation in and completion of all CBH mandatory in-services.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to provide telehealth services.

Schedule

Per-diem basis, requiring on-site presence two days per month.
