About The Opportunity
We are looking for contract psychiatrists who are passionate about whole-person, whole family mental health care and working within a connected network to provide patients with easily accessible, culturally responsive, high-quality mental health care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate accurate diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each developmental stage
- Utilize proven therapeutic techniques and medication management strategies to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders, ensuring safe and appropriate interventions
- Foster a collaborative treatment environment, educating families on mental health issues, involving them in care planning, and providing guidance on supportive measures at home
- Congnitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments
- Conduct virtual psychiatric sessions, ensuring a high-quality and supportive experience, and leverage technology to maintain regular communication with members and families
- Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to collaborative care planning, and provide consultative support to other team members for comprehensive member care
- Data-driven practice and documentation, maintaining accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes. Use data analytics to assess outcomes and continuously improve care quality
- Ethics and Compliance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards, engaging in ongoing professional development, and committing to ethical, patient-centered care practices
Requirements
- Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state
- Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment (video and teletherapy) preferred but not required
- Computer and live video tools literacy (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.)
- Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults
- Commitment to and familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and competency in practicing within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance
