About the Role

United Health Services Hospitals is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our rapidly growing team. We offer a Behavioral Health Inpatient Program providing a therapeutic environment with assessments and treatment by a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and mental health technicians. Additionally, our Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) provides 24-hour crisis services for adults and children.

As a teaching hospital affiliated with SUNY Upstate Medical Center and Binghamton University Health Sciences Center, we train over 100 physicians per year in residency and fellowship programs.

Location

Binghamton, NY is located 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessments and treatment within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Deliver crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric services through CPEP.
• Participate in the training and supervision of residents and fellows as part of our teaching hospital commitments.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.
