Psychiatrist

About the role

You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals in need. This position is essential in supporting our mission to enrich the lives of community members through effective treatment and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric, medical assessment and treatment to consumers in PROS and OASAS programs.
• Provide supervision and oversight of agency Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and clinical support to programs outside department as needed.
• Potential for advancement to Associate Chief Medical Officer.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a physician by the NYS Education Department and certified by, or be eligible to be certified by, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Valid and clean NY State driver license.
• Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
