Psychiatrist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, follow-up appointments, and medication management.
• Review labs, monitor blood levels, and prepare discharge documentation (physician orders, prescriptions).
• Collaborate with and provide support to clinical staff to ensure high-quality client care.
• Coordinate care and communicate with the interdisciplinary team as appropriate.
• Manage and complete the peer review process.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified Psychiatrist
• 2+ years of experience in psychiatric medicine
• Knowledge of continuous improvement practices
• Knowledge of co-occurring disorders and SUD treatment
• Knowledge of HIPAA laws, CARF standards, OMH, and DDAP regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Drug and Alcohol Services

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our respected Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) & Mental Health Treatment Center in Allentown, PA. We are known for our client-centered approach, compassionate leadership, and commitment to long-term recovery.

Schedule

Position will start off virtually, but will be back to in-person end of the year. Schedule: Monday: 9:00am – 6:00pm (on-site)
