What You’ll Do

• Lead the interdisciplinary team in supporting PrairieCare’s treatment programs (PHP/IOP & Clinics setting), ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.
• Deliver high-quality treatment to adults with psychiatric and substance use disorders, in accordance with your granted Medical Staff privileges.
• Primary work setting is PHP/IOP & Clinics with added opportunity to provide services across hospital & residential programs.
• Stay informed about follow-up resource services available to adults, adolescents, and children to ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for healing and growth.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Licensed in the State of Minnesota to practice medicine.
• Successfully completed an accredited Postgraduate Training Residency.
• Certified or eligible for Board Certification in General/Adult Psychiatry.
• Ability to maintain required medical staff privileges and malpractice insurance.
• Knowledgeable about adult, adolescent, and child psychiatric disorders, as well as advanced principles of abnormal psychology.
• Able to maintain information as highly confidential.
• Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical record documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, and able to access and use intranet sites as necessary.
• Ability to smoothly and rapidly shift between dissimilar tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team to handle volatile and potentially emergency situations, making effective decisions under stress.
• Capable of managing disruptive and explosive patients.
• DEA certification is required.

Pay

Pay range for this position is $300,000 to $325,000, depending on education and experience. Signing Bonus & Relocation Allowance offered. An individual’s pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
