About the role

The Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center seeks a full-time Psychiatrist to join their mission-driven team. Located in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina, the center offers high-quality outpatient services to adults with acute and chronic mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient assessment and treatment to adults
• Work a hybrid schedule combining remote telepsychiatry from home and onsite work at clinic locations in Hilton Head, Beaufort, Hampton, Walterboro, and Ridgeland
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients experiencing mental illness
• Maintain a work-life balance with ample free time to enjoy the coastal lifestyle

Requirements

• Residency training in Psychiatry (Board Certification preferred but not required)
• South Carolina medical license (or willingness to apply)
• Compassion towards individuals experiencing mental illness

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Current South Carolina medical license
• Completed residency training in Psychiatry

Benefits

• $290,000 annual salary (fixed compensation with no billing required)

Schedule

Average work week of 40 hours, with flexibility to work remotely and in-person at clinic locations.
