Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Psychiatrist to join our team in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to establish diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered, evidence-based psychiatric care, including psychopharmacological treatment.
- Perform crisis intervention and stabilization for patients in acute distress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated healthcare and ensure continuity of care.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide mental health treatment and substance use disorder services, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options, fostering their active participation in care.
- Career Development
- Coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transition between different levels of care and integration of physical and mental health services.
- Utilize your expertise in population health to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative strategies for patient care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of a psychiatric residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical psychiatry, with demonstrated expertise in the required skill set.
- Proficiency in psychiatric evaluations, behavioral health, psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, integrated healthcare, diagnostic assessment, collaborative care, mental health treatment, substance use disorders, patient education, care coordination, and population health.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of diverse populations.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice psychiatry in the state.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in psychiatry.
