What You’ll Do
- Care Champion: Oversee the psychiatric care of clients.
- Team Collaborator: Attend weekly Treatment Team Meetings and work closely with the Clinical Director and other treatment team members.
- Documentation Dynamo: Keep everything organized by documenting patient encounters through weekly progress notes in our EMR system, as well as safety assessments and phone calls with parents.
- Utilization Review Rockstar: Assist with utilization reviews for clients and provide cross-coverage to the Psychiatry team when needed.
- Communication Guru: Maintain excellent communication with other clinical team members, outpatient providers, and family members.
- Discharge Specialist: Complete discharge recommendation assessments as part of collaborative discharge summaries within 24 hours.
- Collaborative Environment: Work in a dynamic team setting, maintaining the requirements of Physician Collaborative Agreements, if applicable.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
- Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry strongly preferred, Board Certification in General/Adult Psychiatry required.
- Experience in adolescent/young adult psychiatry required.
- Licensed in the State for which you are applying required.
- Active DEA licensure.
- Experience in a PHP/IOP and/or Residential settings strongly preferred.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned unit.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age specific needs.
Pay
Compensation for this role ranges from $200/hr. - $230/hr., based on education & years of experience. We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual’s pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
