Psychiatric Prescriber - Contract

About the role

A highly skilled and experienced Psychiatric Prescriber is needed to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care and medication management to patients in need.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans based on patient needs
• Prescribe and manage medications as per clinical guidelines and patient conditions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment outcomes

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Psychiatric Prescriber in the state
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in psychiatric care
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME)
• Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of pharmacology and psychopharmacology
