About the Role

Behavioral Health Peachford Hospital is Atlanta and North Georgia’s most comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health facility, providing care to patients and their families struggling with mental health and addictive disease. Our hospital treats patients aged 5 to 95 with all levels of care, including crisis stabilization and adult, adolescent/child, and geriatric psych. We also offer a wide range of outpatient services, including partial hospitalization and ECT.

If you are a Registered Nurse with an understanding of mental illness or addictive disease, the ability to interact with patients of all cognitive levels (including those with trauma histories), patience, and a commitment to patient safety, Peachford may be the place for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, clinically excellent nursing care to patients with mental health or addictive disease.
• Interact with patients of all cognitive levels, including those with trauma histories.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients across diverse age groups (5 to 95).
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in crisis stabilization, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• State of Georgia or eCompact Multi-State Nursing License.
• Preference for candidates with at least one year of nursing experience (though all interested RNs are encouraged to apply).
• Previous psychiatric experience is helpful but not required.
