Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Addiction Medicine

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to provide psychiatric care with a focus on addiction medicine in New York, anchored out of either the Bronx or Queens and working from Bronx or Harlem locations. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of homeless and addiction-affected patients through a combination of direct clinical service and administrative responsibilities.

About the role

This role operates on an 80% direct clinical service model and 20% administrative work, focusing on patients affected by homelessness and addiction.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management.
• Provide care across outpatient, residential, and rehabilitation settings.
• Deliver in-person and telehealth psychiatric services.
• Conduct crisis assessments and intervention for high-risk clients.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and external providers.
• Ensure compliant documentation and support medication management best practices.

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified (BC) and licensed in New York.
• Experience in addiction medicine required.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 5 days a week.
