Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Telehealth

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Brightside Health, you will practice with clinical autonomy alongside psychiatrist support while creating a flexible work schedule using state-of-the-art tools, including a custom-built practice management EMR and clinical decision support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all appropriate licensure to prescribe and dispense medications under applicable state and federal laws.
• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine, including synchronous video consultations and asynchronous messaging.
• Evaluate patient records, make prescribing decisions, and provide medication-related counseling in a timely manner.
• Complete charting within 48 hours of each session.
• Support a 72-hour messaging response window for patients.
• Be consistently responsive to the clinical leadership team and highly reliable to members.
• Demonstrate excellent grammar, attention to detail, and proficiency in writing medical information at a patient level.
• Be technology-savvy and excited about how technology can improve medical care.
• Collaborate with the Brightside team in a pleasant and responsive manner.

Requirements

• Active and clear APRN license.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner - Certified in Psychiatric & Mental Health (PMHNP Required).
• At least 2 years of autonomous experience practicing as a PMHNP, post-graduate.
• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting.
• Telehealth experience and a high comfort level working with technology.
• Must be licensed in 4+ states (the more, the better).
• 8+ hours of availability per week.
• Experience working with adolescents is strongly preferred.
• Opted in to Medicare/Medicaid.
