Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Telehealth

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Brightside Health, you will practice with clinical autonomy alongside psychiatrist support while creating a flexible work schedule using state-of-the-art tools, including a custom-built practice management EMR and clinical decision support.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain all appropriate licensure to prescribe and dispense medications under applicable state and federal laws
• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine, including synchronous video consultations and asynchronous messaging
• Evaluate patient records, make prescribing decisions, and provide medication-related counseling in a timely manner
• Complete charting within 48 hours of each session
• Support a 72-hour messaging response window for patients
• Be responsive to the clinical leadership team and highly reliable to our members
• Collaborate with a supportive team and leverage technology to improve medical care

Requirements

• Active and clear APRN license
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner - Certified in Psychiatric & Mental Health (PMHNP Required)
• At least 2 years of autonomous experience practicing as a PMHNP, post-graduate
• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting
• Telehealth experience and a high comfort level working with technology
• Must be licensed in 4+ states (the more, the better)
• 8+ hours of availability per week
• Experience working with adolescents is strongly preferred
• Opted in to Medicare/Medicaid
