About the role
Ellie Mental Health is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team. This role involves practicing with support from a strong administrative and clinical support system, conducting psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive care for diverse populations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations (initial assessments)
- Diagnose mental health conditions and develop medication treatment plans
- Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation (evaluations and med management notes)
- Collaborate with therapists to support coordinated, whole-person care
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and payer requirements
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20–25 patient visits per week (full-time) or 10–15 patient visits per week (part-time)
Requirements
- Fully licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Board certified (ANCC or AANP)
- Active license in at least one of the following states: Maryland
- Multi-state licensure preferred
- Active DEA or CDS license
- Valid NPI and malpractice insurance
- Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Experience in outpatient or private practice settings
- Comfort managing a high-functioning outpatient caseload
- Experience working with insurance-based populations
- Comfort treating a range of conditions (anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders)
- Interest in helping develop and grow a new service line
Qualifications
- Comfortable with flexible scheduling (in-person and/or telehealth)
- Interested in fee-for-service position with a strong base pay structure

Pay
Estimated annual earnings range: $100,000 – $140,000+, depending on schedule, patient volume, and payer mix
