Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP - Medication Management

About the role

Ellie Mental Health is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team. This role involves practicing with support from a strong administrative and clinical support system, conducting psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive care for diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations (initial assessments)
• Diagnose mental health conditions and develop medication treatment plans
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation (evaluations and med management notes)
• Collaborate with therapists to support coordinated, whole-person care
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and payer requirements
• Manage a caseload of approximately 20–25 patient visits per week (full-time) or 10–15 patient visits per week (part-time)

Requirements

• Fully licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Board certified (ANCC or AANP)
• Active license in at least one of the following states: Maryland
• Multi-state licensure preferred
• Active DEA or CDS license
• Valid NPI and malpractice insurance
• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Experience in outpatient or private practice settings
• Comfort managing a high-functioning outpatient caseload
• Experience working with insurance-based populations
• Comfort treating a range of conditions (anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders)
• Interest in helping develop and grow a new service line

Qualifications

• Comfortable with flexible scheduling (in-person and/or telehealth)
• Interested in fee-for-service position with a strong base pay structure

Pay

Estimated annual earnings range: $100,000 – $140,000+, depending on schedule, patient volume, and payer mix
